A selection of poetry and prose. Life and death. Love and loss. Pain and happiness. And everything in between on this journey to Seek The One who created me.

The Well
The Well
Each brick is placed
Around the well
To protect the water
If it overflows
From the place it dwells
Life will grow for our sons and daughters
We observe in awe
As the frame is shaking
The water gushing
The bucket breaking
The crowds rejoice
They take their fill
But was it to deny their happiness
That the well was built?
Perhaps the owner wanted to reserve the contents
Let each person take their sip and leave
Maybe he felt the water was pure
And kept it hidden from disease
But I think his motive was to stop the flood
Save the people, the animals and trees
From the overflowing and precious love
That keeps us living above the sea
See his love was a blessing
For all those around him
But if not kept hidden would destroy
At first the crowd rejoiced
Then the flood took away their boys
And swept up the women
Overwhelmed their frames
Each drop remained
Inside their veins
It engulfed them so much
That the town was lost
And the owner learned from this deep loss
So he built a dam
Kept compassion behind it
And once in a while he would
Let a little out
But love remained trapped in the well
Never to be found
Deep underground

Soulless
Soulless
Raindrops fall from the feathers
Each leaf is drenched in the coldest mist
As I take off towards heaven
Before the sun rises I cease to exist
Defeat I admit
The gospel I surrender to
The keys they don’t fit
To the doors that I enter to
But I seek with the words
That the Lord has given to me
I reach for the bird
And soar to lands before me
The body, my temple
Is empty and desolate
Soulless, a hollow shell
The crow it carries my empty vessel
To a land where I am free
Rebirth is what I yearn for
A land where I am me
No Earth, I deserve no more.

Heartless
Heartless
Twisted
Thoughts
Of hair being caught
In the depths of my mind
My eyes go dark
And the light in the heart
Fades as I put the pain on canvas
Paint the future, Atlantis
Give up my soul for the words of above
No longer hold
Any weight on my mind
And I don’t want to know
What awaits at the end of the line
I just want to serve my time
And be out of this prison
This bone ridden prison
This flesh ridden prison
This home for the living
I’d rather stay decayed
And alone with the rhythm
Then to spend another moment
Seeing ghosts in my vision
And every time I close my eyes
I see him cry with ambition
Book the flight and go high in the horizon
Land at her feet and on that haunted island
Open his chest and give her the prize
And watch her devour the love inside
Her hands grip the hourglass and steal his time
And she turns, and turns
He slowly dies
Until the corpse is left
Just a heartless shell
Begging and screaming for hell

Paint The Melody
Paint The Melody
Dip the bristles into the ink
And let’s gently touch the moon outside
Clouds will gather to watch true love
As the brush makes strokes across the sky
Each vision it takes us higher
Beyond the walls of limitation
The canvas my desire
The colours form imagination
With each touch I'm blessed
As the landscape leaves my mind
The image of my subtle thoughts
Inspired by the Most Sublime
It's artistry at its finest
These tools I use to portray my thoughts
These words my paint, my tongue the pallet
Poetry is its final form
I sign each piece with a smile
And hope the reader looks back in peace
My delicate words will stand alone
It’s to you, I leave the melody
Man's Best Friend
Man's Best Friend
The collar bell tinkles
As he steps in the home
His eyes start to sparkle
He’s never alone
A new found friend
In this life and therein
One to call loved
In this home I'm with him
The beginning
Summer days are long
As the winding path takes us
To rivers beyond
He follows with deep trust
He needs no bone
For reward or a treat
Just a happy home
And his own place to eat
During winter we shiver
Yet his fur keeps me
From being weak
And we smile in the spring
For we've broken through the cold
And stepped out onto the other side
His face looking old
It seems like time moves so fast on this Earth
But in reality the Earth is slowly spinning in place
It is us who run so fast on this Earth
And our days draw so near
For we've enjoyed the years
Now his fur, quite dusty
Yet his eyes still shine
My skins become rusty
But my smile won’t decline
Dog is truly a man’s best friend
Together till the end
Of our journey through time.

Morning Journey
Morning Journey
朝の旅
Gently whisper into my ear
The things you know I long to hear
Those vivid echoes
Through history
That shrouds our love in mystery
I kiss your cheek
Each morning
As the wind carries sweet scents
Towards us
I’ll never leave
You darling
These words my armour
I do adore you
So let’s head out to the harbour
And sail far into tomorrow
Leave our worries on the kitchen table
Lay your head to rest upon this maple
Let me hold the wheel and stare
As the water drips down from your hair
Gently whisper in your ear
All those words you long to hear
Follow Me
Follow Me
That wave their hands
To the rhythm of the breeze
Pay homage to the sounds
Of the gentle sapphire seas
The night of New Years Eve
Two hearts were torn in pieces
But the leaves they watched so silently
As the two walked oh so separately
He shakes his head in disbelief
The wind it changes the bitter seas
The rage inside his heart conceives
A way to remove her completely
And the faithful leaves
That cry so hard
To the rhythm of his heart
Pay homage to the sounds
Of a love that’s torn apart
Follow me
Follow me
Listen close
To the sound of the blue sea
Follow me
Follow me
Listen close
To the rhythm of the breeze
Follow me
Follow me
Follow me
I Seek
I Seek
I lay in the grassAnd watch the Sun shine its light upon me
I stay for a while
For my hearts cold I'm waiting for the beat
I seek
I will seek just for You
I seek
I will seek just for You
Open my hands
And pray to the Lord, with true humbleness
Here in the path of God I'm walking
To seek real truthfulness
I seek
I will seek just for You
I seek
I will seek just for You
Home coming
Home coming
I sweep two years of dust
From the table I once used
My heart's begun to rust
Inside this chest that I've abused
I threw away the key
Before I left the box untouched
I became a new me
But I didn't gain much
The little things in life
Like the warm embrace of friends
We’re trivial in spite
Of all that’s now become the end
I'm moving on
I'm moving on
I'm moving on
I'm moving on
It won’t be long
It won’t be long
I'm moving on
I'm moving on

Two Sides
Tearing down mirrors
To hide from this face
A dead man is walking
Inside of this place
The heart is so cold
It no longer beats
I'm a zombie tonight
Getting lost in the streets
A memory fades
A lifetime changes
The heart remains
Behind bars and chains
A solitary fate
Of confinement within
A mind torn in two
And a heart filled with sin
The lies that I tell
Build walls around me
Each brick clouds my vision
I no longer see
Who I really am
Just an empty body
So I tear down the mirror
For I am not me
But I can think
Therefore I am
The blood it fills my veins
And hands
I raise in demand
For retribution
To return to the land
Where my real life began
And the mirror is clear
When I look for desires
I see only You there
For You began me
And You are my end
My only true Friend
In this life of deceit
Yggdrasil
Moon roses
Night tulips
That fragrance is
Sweetness to my lips
Purple grass
And crystal oceans
Rivers filled
With deep emotion
Diamond skies
And ruby summers
Golden leaves fear
The silver thunder
Yellow winters
And sapphire springs
Rainbows dance
On Saturn's rings
Tears of Pluto
Jupiters trees
Wave silently
In the cosmic breeze
Venus sings
Sweet lullabies
While Neptune sleeps
Throughout the night
Mars glows bright
It's filled with love
Earth it watches
From above
The mighty sun
Sits back in shade
The moon gently smiles
As it visits the graves
Of the human beings
Who rest in peace
A floating existence
On the solar seas

Three Stars
Three Stars
When measured it's weight in gold?
What is the worth of a life
When taken in the night
3 bright stars
Slowly begin to dim upon this Earth
But by the grace of God they'll shine
In their glorious rebirth
I sit and weep in agony
While the world looks on in vain
People caught up in pleasure and pain
For personal gain
But we cannot attain
The being in the Human
Unless we live for one another
My soul it weeps
It weeps
For misunderstanding each other
And although I never met you all
Your light has reached my heart
A piece of me I've lost a part
While you suffered by the spark
Your legacy will live on
And by God my eyes are woken
I cannot bare all of your pain
So these words I have spoken
To God we all belong
To God we must return
Let not your fate be in deep vain
And may we all stand up and learn
I reach into my breast
And draw the sword of unity
Together we must stand
All one under the tree
All one under the tree
All one under the tree
Together we must stand
All one under the tree
My Boy
My Boy
The air is full of hatred
My lungs feel saturated
With visions of war
And apocalypse
The hour is near son
I'm feeling it
So while you lay down your head
In your mamas lap
Just remember
That your papa gotta stay strapped
I keep an arsenal of words for
The enemy
Cos while they still breath son
We can never be free
But Gods word is the utmost ultimate
Never forget what I teach you
In this cold world
Because the hour is near son
I'm feeling it
And your papas gotta fight
For the White pearls
See they're out to get us
And I ain't down with that
They choke to provoke
And leave our kids trapped
So take a long hard stare into your mamas eyes
For the future rests between faith and demise
There's so much I wanna share with you my boy
Like a world full of peace kids playing with toys
Sat around the kitchen eating family meals
Watching movies through the winter while we cuddle and chill
See there were days before this
Before the hatred
Before the air in your mamas lungs became saturated
Before the drones attacked us and destroyed our homes
Before the hour came near
And mama turned to bones
Before papa got a scar and lost an eye
But remember my son
That your Lord ain't blind
For the vision of truth that He has given to us
Must remain in our hearts
In this treasure we trust
Cos when the hour is here
All I want from my boy
Is a joyful tear
While we sit and rejoice
As our saviour comes
And breaks the cross with his hand
And leads us all back
To the promised land
So my boy don't lose faith
My boy don't lose hope
My boy stay grateful
And reap only what you sow
For the machine cannot provide
You with this love
That your mama and papa
And the Lord bestowed from above
So with this love in your heart
Grow up and be a man
Mama and I are waiting for you
In the promised land

These Words
These Words
And pump these words right into my veins
I'm reminded that these words will bring me no gain
But are words more potent when covered in fame?
These words make my name
6 followed by 5
These words bring me shame
Sex followed by lies
These words aren't the same
They're hollow inside
These words are insane
They follow my mind
Flip it
Change the rhythmic flow
These words bring to light
What my heart doesn't show
These words make me feel I'm big and I'm known
Like I'm finally grown
But these words never know
What they're doing inside
The letters and messages
Old newspapers
Emails and credit lists
Diaries stuffed behind cushions with feathers in
Hidden from people
Yet cuddled and read with them
These words unite nations
Like letters from presidents
Or breed holy war
From the venomous terrorists
These words can distort everything from within
Or return our souls to a permanent residence
Flip it
Change the rhythmic flow
These words are a part of my heart and my soul
They soar through the stratosphere all over the globe
And settle near graves like
Dark feathered crows
These words are our own
These words are mine
These words belong to you and I
With these words we reach the sky
And with these words we all must die
These words can change
They all hold fate
They all take blame
They all could hate
They all could save
They all create
They all could push our fears away
These words can bring us brighter days
Or these words can shackle hearts like slaves
These words are what we use today
To try and find a better way
They say the pen can slay the sword
These words can pierce our skin and more
The ink it runs right through my veins
But are words more potent when said again?
