In Too Deep
I fall deep into this
Eternal feeling of submission
The depths of belief
Open up for exploration
Am I blinded by the treasure?
The chest filled with desire?
Lust and gold all in one
Rubies and sapphires
Or am I here to find solace
Where the sounds of life are muted
Floating in liquid space
The atmosphere is therapeutic
Escape escape escape
From the life outside my mind
Retreat retreat retreat
To this little world of mine
Take each living day
A small step at a time
Never rush when in the ocean
For you never know what you may find
The sea of knowledge may overpower
Crush your body and drag your soul
So you must learn to swim with the current
Not too fast yet not too slow
Ask for guidance from up above
To show you which path is for the righteous
And thank the Lord of peace and love
When faced with waves of desires and tyrants
Don’t lose hope when in too deep
For the water will embrace your journey quietly
Spend your life searching for that which you seek
Is seeking you undeniably.
