The Dreamer & The Believer
A dreamer lays his head to rest
In the last third of the night
A believer lays his head to rest
In prostration towards the light
The dreamer enjoys reverie
The believer searches for the key
To the dream to come true while awake
The dreamer never knows of this mind state
The believer thus opens the door to fate
And his dreams come true while he’s wide awake.
For the believer was once a dreamer
But with open eyes prayed for what he needs
While the dreamer lays his head to rest
And only sees what is in his sleep.
